Expleo are currently supporting a client based in Turkey in the development of a new fixed wing aircraft, as part of this support we are looking for a number of F & DT Engineers at Senior and Lead Levels. This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract based at our client's facility just outside Ankara, Turkey. The rate/salary will be dependant on the individual's skills and experience. Due to Turkish employment regulations successful candidates will have to enter the Turkish tax system.
Ideally candidates will have experience of working on the development of fast jet aircraft but we will consider those from the wider aerospace industry.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be nationals of NATO countries and must be eligible to obtain their national security clearance. We are unable to process applications from candidates outside of the NATO member states.
Maintain technical integrity, quality and compliance with customer requirements.
Define Fatigue and Damage Tolerance / materials / test requirements.
Prepare fatigue design load spectrum.
Prepare, check and approve Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis and reports.
Develop methods and tools for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis and prepare test plan and requests.
Develop fatigue test loads in accordance with certification requirements for metallic and composite fatigue testing of aircraft dynamic components.
Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses to establish metallic/composite component replacement/retirement times and inspection intervals.
Interact with structural analysis and design organizations, materials & processes, structural test laboratories, flight test, manufacturing.
Participate in design reviews, presenting to customer and internal teams. Identify and manage risks through quality gates and coordinate with Engineering Programme Manager and senior management.
Review, find and approve repair solution for manufacturing defects.
Assess modification requirements and perform required analyses to comply with Certification and Airworthiness Requirements.
Interact with Engineering Authority, Chief Engineers, Certification and Airworthiness Authorities.
Act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Knowledge of requirements prescribed on MIL-STD-1530 , JSSG-2006 and MIL-HDBK-516 from the Durability and Damage tolerance point of view is preferable.
Knowledge of sonic fatigue is preferable.
