Expleo are working with a client based in Surrey, who are seeking an Electronics Engineer to work as part of a team working on instrumentation and acoustics systems.
Ideally, you will have experience in analogue circuit design as work will involve mixed signal design including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing and analogue-digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications.
You will be expected to work independently or as a member of a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development into production.
Key Skills Include:
Basic Analog components / circuits
Operational Amplifier circuits
Power supply technology
Circuit analysis, modelling and theory
Interfacing and IO (e.g. I2C and SPI bus)
CAD Schematic layout
CAD PCB design
Experience of Cadence OrCAD PCB design tools
Self-motivation is essential along with a desire to continue to improve on both a personal and professional level. You must be keen to learn new skills and be comfortable working in a highly multidisciplinary environment. You must be methodical and pay great attention to detail and work well under pressure and to deadline. Good communication skills are essential.
